PC Maintenance / Cleanup tasks

Is next week a slow week for you given the holidays? If so, and if you will be in the office, you might want to use the time to clean up and update your PC. There is a nice listing of potential to-do's published by Information Week (click here to access the article). One could go through some or all of these tasks to help improve the response time and security of your equipment either in the office or at home. Of course, if you are working on this in the office, you might want to check with your IT Department to see which if these things they complete on a routine basis to save yourself some duplicative work.
