Service Level Agreements

If you are developing or deploying applications within your law firm (undoubtedly if you work in Applications Development within IT you must be involved in one of these activities) it is a strong practice to develop service level agreements on your applications with your clients. Having these discussions will help you and your client understand what is important to the business in terms of performance, features and reliability/availability. And, having this document in place will set some expectations with respect to the levels and types of service this application should be providing to the business.

More details on Service Level Agreements can be found in the recent article posted on, which is available by clicking here.
