Blue Screen of Death

IBM yesterday did a demo of an application, priced at $300, which is designed to help people recover data from damaged hard drives. The application can reside on a device such as an MP3 player. It is called "IBM Rescue & Recovery On Linux". They claim it can rebuild a hard drive in an hour or recover data instantly.
